Last night (or the early hours of this morning) Julia Ormond won the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Miniseries or Movie award at the Emmy Awards for her role in Temple Grandin.

Julia Ormond, nominated for supporting actress in a miniseries for her role in "Temple Grandin," still has some red carpet concerns.

"Obviously there's a big thing with trying to get the dress," she said. "I'm not a size zero, so it's always, let's just find one where we can get everything into."

Being nominated is "amazing," she said: "To be put in a category of women and other actresses that I really respect, it's been really validating."

Julia and fellow nominees on Prop 8 which I understand is a big issue in the States.

Temple Grandin for 2010

Just seen this:

In HBO films, Claire Daines' portrayal of author, animal scientist and autism advocate, "Temple Grandin" debuts in February 2010. Catherine O'Hara, Julia Ormond and David Strathairn co star in the production, directed by Mick Jackson.
